Emma B. George gives a captivating performance, starring in the stage production of ‘The Wasp’. Co-starring, Anna Zanders, the psychological thriller is the brainchild of acclaimed author, Morgan Lloyd Malcolm. After graduating from Brighton University with a Master’s of Pharmacy, Irish-born actress, Emma B. George, changed careers to pursue her passion for the arts. “I’m extremely grateful that I’m able to pursue this career. I took a gamble changing careers from being a pharmacist to enrolling in acting school and by God, I am so glad I took that gamble.”
After moving to Los Angeles in 2014, Emma studied acting at the world renowned Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theater in Los Angeles, graduating from the two-year conservatory program. She appeared in the films, ‘Monkey See, Monkey Do’, ‘The Measure Of Your Faith’, ‘Rose’, and ‘Margaret’. Emma was directed by Oscar winner, Milton Justice, in the role of Kate in the production of ‘Two Days’.
This year, Emma moved back to Europe to continue her career, cast in two films to be shot this year in France and Ireland. The play questions how far beyond the playground we carry our childhood experiences and to what lengths some people are willing to go in order to come to terms with them.
One of the aspects this psychological play explores is kindness, how we are with each other and how we interact with the world, and whether or not we need to be kinder to each other. Morgan Lloyd Malcolm finds humor in the darkest of moments and also finds heartbreak in quite light moments. Emma B. George’s brilliant performance, showing in both London and Dublin.
