For someone who never planned to be an actor, Dario Soler fell in love with acting by surprise. He became successful and starred in roles which he’s known for. He started his career In his country of Argentina, during several years of studies, he played in different theaters, some of his plays were “Delicious” “Miss Julie” , and “In krill you become”. He was hooked and wanted to learn more and receive more training. Dario felt as though he finally found his calling. Acting became his passion and main hobby.
In 2002 he moved to Mexico City and started to work in advertising, especially tv commercials and print modelling jobs. While living in Mexico, he received training in many techniques to develop his capacities. Dario has mastered techniques like: Meisner, Strasberg, Stanislavski, Adler, Chekhov, improv, and even pantomime. After 12 years living, working and learning in Mexico , he moved to LA in 2011. He wanted to improve his knowledges of acting, this time in an american conservatory. He took everything he learned and applied it to each role he starred in. He feels that the more he learns within acting, the more he has the upper hand among other actors. Dario is best known for his role in “El Quetzal de Jade”, while he was student in LA, he booked this movie from the directors James and Robert Dastoli.
In the film, Dario plays the main character; a private detective living in the United States, who travels to Guatemala. The film takes place in both the united states and central america. The murder of a rich man leads a private detective to Guatemala where a seductive femme fatale pulls him into a tangled web of intrigue surrounding the priceless Mayan Jade Quetzal.
According to the words of Director Robert Dastoli, Dario impressed all members of the production with his wide range, showing that he could deliver a terrific performance in comedic scenes as in dramatic, and he fully embraced the physicality of the role , excelling in various fights and chase scenes.
Dario learned a lot from this experience and was thrilled with the outcome. Another huge achievement of his is being part of several commercial campaigns in USA, for brands like State Farm, General motors, Taco Bell, APS, American Family Insurance, Ford, AT&T and Buchanans among others.
Dario has tons of projects coming up and as always he’s ready to keep expanding his skills. He’s a very talented actor who knows how to keep himself relevant in the industry.
