Some people have an amazing attitude towards their profession which makes them so accomplished and helps them in giving fantastic performances. One such talented and dedicated performer is British actor Luke King who is has played the role of Risk in “Face Up” directed by Jay Cosme. It is quite commendable to see someone who had keen interest in football to be such a huge star today.
Luke has shown his talent in feature films, short films, music videos, films, theatre, infomercial and commercial. He is a young star who is certainly climbing heights and giving mind-blowing performances. He has done the short films like “Guilt”, “Happily Never After” and “Status Update” and films like “Family Meeting” and “Ahmet Bilkan’s The Ring” besides the feature film “Face Up”. His works in theatre covers “Are You Positive”, “The Gas”, “London Tour”, “Ghetto”, “Blink of An Eye”, “Bloody Taunton”, “Lysistrata”, George Orwell’s ‘1984’ and more.
The training which Luke has obtained is highly impressive as he is a Graduate of Bath Spa University BA Hons in Performing Arts and for each filed of the entertainment world; this hardworking actor has put in lot of efforts. For instance he has trained in monologue scene read and commercial training with Dorinda Duncan, Talent Inc, TV Presenting trained by Sarah Greene and so on. Benn Cody, director of George Orwell’s ‘1984’ has found this young performer to be committed along with being a professional. So much so that Luke received John Meikle Award when the play’s run was finished.
As for his personal favourite role, Luke feels it has to be that of Risk in the feature film “Face Up” as he thoroughly enjoyed working on the characteristics of this character. His upcoming projects cover “Face Up” which would be in UK theatres next year; he has just been in a Kiss FM commercial which has a 6-month Television run period. Luke also has the short film project which he is directing and he had a hand in the writing process.
