Daniela Junko is not the typical actress that you will see prancing across your screen, desperate to trade off her fabulous looks for a moment of the audience’s time. Of course, she is beautiful: but she has never let that define her, and has never used that as a tool to force people to hire her or watch her. Whenever Daniela Junko is on stage or on screen, you cannot help but watch her. Your eyes are inextricably drawn to her, and you watch with baited breath as she totally immerses herself into a role. That is what makes her so spectacular, and that is why she has become so incredibly successful.
The world really is Daniela Junko’s oyster. Of Brazilian Japanese origin, educated in Norway, Japan, Brazil, and even Singapore have all been called her home at one time or another. Through her acting, which she considers to be true art, she can bring together her passion with her prodigious talent. When asked about the movies that she has done, Daniela Junko states that: “For me, movies are an expression of souls and life, and no matter what character is offered to me, I will always be interested to learn, discover, and portray as truthfully as I am capable of.”
It is this honesty which has made her roles in “Rough Mix” – as the lead – and “The Incision”, where once again Daniela Junko played the lead character, a girl called Jessica that gets caught up in organ trafficking. A dark subject, it nevertheless was not different for Daniela Junko to totally immerse herself in the complex character that she was portraying. Audiences simply cannot get enough of her, which is why many are watching very closely her upcoming projects: we can’t wait to see what she is going to do next.
