The 2014 Indie Entertainment Summit is set for it third installment, in Los Angeles, California, from August 6-10th. The IES is a comprehensive summit, for both the performer and business professional, and attracts the career driven from around the globe. Jay Warsinske is the brainchild of summit, with over 30 years of successful experience in the industry. Jay has also been a guest speaker for many music conferences, including colleges and universities. When the IES launched in 2012 it was given the blessing of the US Congress and it continues to evolve into what may be the most beneficial event for the performing arts, modeling and literary arts industries. Word about the summit is also getting out, as the IES has been invited to India…Hollywood goes to Bollywood!
There are four days of insightful panels, with question and answer sessions. Attendees get to interact with the dynamic panelists, so they are able receive feedback and learn how to navigate their career. There are too many topics and panels to mention but they include everything from A-Z, such as Acting & Modeling, Legal Eagles, and PR. There are also music honors, from hip hop to rock. Last year songwriter Diane Warren was honored.
