As casting continues to grow for Matt Norman’s horrific true story “Scab Girl Asylum” which is set to start principle photography in the first quarter of 2015, another great actress has secured a supporting role in the film. Wingman Pictures is proud to announce the casting of Caitlin Ashley Thompson who will play the supporting role of Emma, a young woman trapped in an institute for the criminally insane who undergoes severe and unrelenting torture by both patients and hospital staff. The film is based on real events and follows the story of Sue Treweek, a young 13 year old who was institutionalised in an adult mental asylum back in the 1980’s.
Scab Girl Asylum is a story that will leave a very bad taste in all Australian’s. It’s true and relenting horror of these young woman will shock even the toughest in our society. Shooting is set to begin in Queensland in early 2015. Written, directed and produced by Matt Norman (Salute).
