Jasmin De Main is an Australian born multi talented actress. This beautiful, down to earth, girl next door has an exceptional career in film, television, radio and theater in Australia, the U.K., and Germany. Growing up in Australia she knew what she wanted and pursued it with passion. She attended the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) the same school many other famous people attended, such as Cate Blanchett and Mel Gibson. She attended there from 2001 to 2003. Recently she has moved to Los Angeles to help further her career.
Jasmin has spent years honing her skills in the performing arts. Her skills include dance, ballet, modern, and jazz, along with singing, and all accents including American and English dialects. She has a passion for what she does and she has the ability to do it very well.
Prior to her getting her Bachelor of Dramatic Art in acting, she obtained a Post Grad Diploma in Secondary Education and TESOL/ESL Education. She is smart and motivated.
There are many important things when acting and Jasmin De Main has taken steps to insure she is at the top of her game. In 2003 she went on to become qualified in Stage Fighting Skills, achieving a level 1 in Australia. Her need to succeed has been a motivating factor in her life.
Television has been a friend to her; she has been seen in Australia, Germany and the United States. In Australia she was a guest star in several shows. In the United States she was a series regular in “The Great Truck Race” on the Food Network, and in “The Things We Love to Hate” on the American Discovery-USA.
The film industry has given her many opportunities as well as television. She has starred in movies with origins in Germany and Australia. She starred in the Australian movie “Preloved” and she was the lead in the German movie “Knock-Knock” and “Busy”.
Jasmin has heated up the International Theater as well as television and film. The stage loves Jasmin De Main; she has played important parts in theater productions in Australia, Germany and the United States. She has starred in commercials in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. In addition to all of this, she has done voice overs, published articles on travel, produced, and mastered many different dialects. She teaches voice and creative movement in her spare time, and is involved in Creating Arts Company- a children’s theater company located in Santa Monica.
