We see so many Hollywood movies around the world of different themes and different actors and actresses we like. There are many actresses in Hollywood but one that stands out is actress Tinkabell Lovelace (her real name!). She started her acting career as a theater actress and slowly lead her way to the film industry.

Tinks is a classically trained actress who studied at the London Academy of Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) and then moved on to enroll herself in the Stella Adler Studio in NYC for three years. Born in Nottingham, England, she moved to Los Angeles a year ago to further her career as an actress.

The highlights of Tinks’ training years were an intensive improvisation workshop at the Stella Adler Studio with the magical stage actor, Mark Rylance. She learned her film technique over the three years from Ron Burrus, who worked closely with Stella Adler, a teacher that Tinks also believes, should be a life guru and leader of the modern world.

She started her theatre career in many leading roles in classical plays. Mainly working on Arthur Miller’s ‘The Crucible’ directed by John Gould Rubin, formerly the Co-Artistic and Executive Director of LAByrinth Theater Company in NYC and ‘Ariel’ in Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ directed by Tom Oppenheim, the Artistic Director of The Stella Adler Studio (Stella’s Grandson).

Tinks’ has more recently starred in film and television projects since moving to LA. A great short film called “At The End Of The Night”, she effortlessly plays the lead who is determined to make things difficult for her newly married best friend. As well as the quirky dark comedy “My Boring Life” (www.myboringlife.org) where she plays the leads dramatic girlfriend that has a tendency of going from zero to tears in every scene, and yet the audience still loves her!

Some of Tinks’ favorite work is with the New York based Fine Artist Carla Liesching (www.carlaliesching.com) as the lead character/performers in her new series “Theatricum”.

Her next step is pilot called “The Gloaming” where she plays a 1940s ghost with a Lauren Bacall like presence. And another collaboration with the photographer Carla Liesching.
