Toronto’s own, Lyndie Greenwood is fast becoming one of the biggest names in acting. With her stunning good looks, down to earth personality and acting skills, Lyndie is turning heads in Hollywood. Not only is she beautiful, Lyndie also holds a Degree in Bachelor of Science and graduated with honors from the University of Toronto in 2006. Acting wise, Lyndie had her first screen role in Director Steven Garbas’ “Pinkville”, then later went on to star in the short film, “Little Phoenix and the Fists of Fury”.
Born in 1983, Lyndie Greenwood studied dance, trained in martial arts, and attended several voice and musical theater schools, in her home country of Canada. Lyndie’s acting training began at the Professional Actors Lab, Jason Fraser Studios, Cynthia Ashperger, Etobiocoke School of the Arts, and later the University Settlement Drama Group. Lyndie has also appeared in such TV shows as “Saving Hope”, “Lost Girls” and “Sunday at Tiffany’s”.
Lyndie’s biggest role to date so far, is playing the part of Sonya on the CW hit TV series “Nikita”, also starring Maggie Q. She began the role in 2010 and the show is currently in its third and final season. Lyndie is very passionate about her acting and continues to impress some of the biggest names in Hollywood. There are many more exciting things to come for this young actress and she hopes to continue her success in TV and Film and to continue writing and staying inspired by her love of life and of course, her acting.
