Slash honored with star on Hollywood Walk of Fame, with guest speaker, Charlie Sheen

Slash honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

On July 10th, in the extremely hot Southern California weather, I made my way down to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, to see one of the most famous guitar players in the world Slash receive his star in Hollywood.  With hundreds of screaming fans, onslaughts of media outlets and bumper to bumper traffic, the occasion in the end, turned out to be pretty entertaining with the likes of funnyman Charlie Sheen honoring Slash. Accompanied by his wife Perla of many years and their 3 children,  Slash was very humbled and grateful for being recognized for his contributions as an artist into the Hollywood Walk of Fame and for his charity work helping the homeless. Slash has played with some of the most famous artists in the world including the King of Pop, Michael Jackson on their collaboration for the song “Give into me”. A well deserved honor, for a down to earth and shy musician who is one of the most legendary musicians of our time. Not to forget, Slash is still only 45 years old! Congratulations Slash! And, here’s to many more successful years to come.
